What do you mean my LLC is not private?

You do not have asset privacy. For example, a search for the owner of your apartment building reveals an LLC. The Secretary of State has details. Anyone knows who and where to file a lawsuit against the building owner. If it was owned by a real estate trust, you would have asset privacy. It’s all about title.
